Quite honestly, you also stand a great chance of being TCU'd in 2015. One loss and if the 4 other teams have similar / better records and skronger schedules, you're fricked.

This schedule is just as good if not better than 2014.
TCU would be TCU'd again.

god damn it. i was defending fsu all year as the undefeated power 5, defending national champs (which, yes, i think matters). looks like ill be doing that for ohio state next year

This is the same schedule as this year
And actually harder since Va Tech will be on the road.

Would have been cool to play @Hawaii, and OSU plays NIu

We played Cincy last year. They are comparable.
There was no chance we play @ Hawaii. We'd never schedule that game.

easy out of conference schedule. no ranked team. Va Tech the only Big 5 opponent.

Can't blame Meyer for leaving.

Dick Vitale just guaranteed tOSU would win the NC again next year. Lock it in.

what is Va Tech in Sagarin? 40th?
come on, man.
Don't get me wrong, LSU plays a similar schedule next year. But tOSU's OOC is a piece of cake.

Mich St then at Michigan. Could be a loss in there.

I think OSU will come into Blacksburg looking to make us pay for last year....
But...we should be better than the garbage we put out at the end of the year.
Defense - Returning 9 starters and that does not include Luther Maddy our best DT who did not play after the OSU game last year due to injury. Our other CB who has pro-potential Fayscon is back also. So at a minimum, we can still play man to man against OSU. Fuller will only be better after playing with a fractured wrist most of the year.
And I always like our chances with Bud having a full summer to scheme.
Heck against Cincinnati he installed a 7 DB look that we have never done before in the time for bowl prep.
Offense - well, we suck. The positive is that 8 starters return and the 3 who do not were part of the OL who essentially were replaced by freshmen as the end of the year. We will have a full healthy roster of TEs...and I think Bucky Hodges is one of the best in the country. He gave OSU all kinds of issues last year.
And McKenzie and Williams will be back at RB, after missing most of the season.
Our Kicker and Punter are back, so overall it should be a good test for OSU.
So with all that being said...OSU by 40

5 potential losses, VaTech, PennSt, MichSt, Mich, B1G Championship.
If they run the table versus those teams, they would have a strong argument to be in the playoffs again given their performance this year.

The schedule gets posted, and implies that tOSU has an easy road to the playoff again because of the cupcakes on that schedule.
Then at the end of the year, the same people will try to rationalize the schedule as being equally difficult as everyone else's

The game on Oct 31 might be the hardest challenge

What a pussy schedule
We beat your pussy conference champ. I know it's a hard time for the SEC but they aren't what they used to be.
Idaho and Jacksonville State should be some tough games next year.
