No clue but I hope to find one from this thread. Only decent ones I found were from places that readily admitted they drive down to NOLA to get them. It's all about the bread.

Anthony's deli and Pocorello's are the only places I know to get one.

I thought Pocarellos was considerably better than Anthony's

Just had my first muffaletta at Anthony's new location. Still the best.

I'm not posting to be a Nega-muffer, but I don't get the love for these sandwiches.
What am I missing?

Eating one from Anthony's right now, and it's the best i've ever had anywhere.

I'm genuinely surprised people have said anything other than Anthony's

Anthony's for sure.

Anthony's is the best I've had in Baton Rouge, but still not very good. DiMartino's for me!

Every now and again when I get the urge for a muffaletta I get one from Maxwell's Market on Corporate since it is close to my office.
It's toasted and I think it is quite good. I might give Anthony's a go soon since it is also close to the office.

Just tried the one from Beauregard Gallery Bistro. Pretty underwhelming.
