Have a good friend who started on the 07' team that said one of his biggest adjustments to Pro ball was the much shorter practices and limited hitting after game 6 or thereabouts. Nothing compared to Miles marathons.

Dude.. If you get tired going through a walk through then something is wrong.
Not saying that they didn't practice way to hard before that but a walk through will never be an excuse for a player to be tired

LSU ran long practices during bowl prep.
I heard this also from one of the players. He said practices were fast paced and more intense than usual. He also said the players liked and embraced the change.

Hannagrif brought it up on his show today, said they had a long walk through and a hard practice the day before. Neither he nor Ruffin Rodrigue had any idea why.
That sounds like Curly Hallman shite.

He did look slower on the outside

So why didn't it affect fournette and Adams

Didn't say it affected anybody just that during his tenure here Miles philosophy has been toward physical long practices. Don't read more into posts than what they actually say!! Happy New Year my friend!!

Mrs. Beckwith might be an amazing cook! Boy went home for Christmas, right?

He did look a step slow but he got very little help from the tackles. But no one played well on defense.

Who knows if anything that happened before the bowl actually had them tired, but it is well known that Fournette is a freak that doesn't get tired for some reason. His high school coach said this over and over and Cam Cameron said it as well. As for Adams, he might not have gotten tired, but he didn't make any gigantic plays either. They probably just weren't that focused on D. I'm sure Chavis wasn't.

Adams was all over the field and had arguably his best game

He played pretty well actually.

I didn't say anything about him not playing really good. The dude gives 110%. I just couldn't remember him making any huge plays. It's more like he had to pick up the slack from everyone else. Although, I do think he made the stop early in the game when ND went on 4th down when they were up 7-0. I think Bower was the 1st guy to slow down the QB, but Adams finished him off.
