12' celings in my house and when it's crowded when we have people over (Especially with kids running around) it sucks arse.
Loud and give me headaches.

I have stained concrete in the kitchen living room so I know that doesn't help.
Just wondering if there was something I can buy that would quiet it down some.

Are you trying to sleep or just reduce the noise. Other than acoustical tile or a sound machine ( if sleeping) I'm not sure of what to suggest.

Rugs, curtains, furniture and more rugs. This is why I dislike stained concrete.

Pictures of the room?

I would suggest some live indoor plants. Ask the local nusery and maybe try some hanging plants. That's if you're into that sort of thing, if not use fake ones.
However.....

You need to have a ratio of more nonliving things to less living things.

The more furniture and decor you put it the better. And you get that no matter if its concrete floors or wood.
