Program rises to an average of 8 wins a season. Miles doesn't recruit the same caliber players that he does now because there's no championship appeal. This season would have been worse.

Impossible to know.

If that had happened, Saban may never have coached in the SEC and even more doubtful that he would be at Alabama now.

My guess is that we may have a division championship or 2, maybe an SEC title. No NC and Miles would not have lasted 10 years here.

The SEC also would not be the power that it is now.

Also, CUM would probably still be at Florida and would probably own the SEC.

Why not just type Urban Meyer rather than having an abbreviation that reads "CUM"

Way to start a thread you knew the responses would be negative too.

Maybe you could send flyers out to the recruits with testimonials from these asshat Miles haters.

It's Christmas, think positive.

Man, I could not agree more. What can this conjecture possibly accomplish. Let's be thankful for what we have. LSU is a composite of contributions from many.

Judging by all of the negative responses, I'm thinking that all of you negatards just got switches in your stockings.
And rightfully so.

I think he would have done just as much as Saban did when he first came in. People forget the mighty Saban only had ONE season where he didn't lose 3 or more games here at LSU. With the recruiting advantages here in the state, Coach Miles would have been competitive with anyone in the SEC.

Program would most likely be the same give or take a little.

You are exactly right my friend. If I remember correctly there was a time when the lsu faithful wanted the great and mighty Saban gone! Oh yea true story people. After the loss to Troy at home now THAT was a meltdown!
