Where exactly is LSU not spending big money? I'm not arguing, I really want to know what the problem is and why y'all think the way you do.

LSU isn't spending enough money on staff for starters. You can't expect to beat Alabama if you pay your staff peanuts. No matter if you have the greatest coach of all time in Miles. A staff is only as good as it's weakest link and Chavis is the staff's weakest link.

Their football budget is like $10 mil more than ours, yet we beat them in ticket sales last year.

They spent $116.6 million last year.

LSU spent $105.3 million last year.

Contrary to popular belief, The bonuses and pay to the entire staff at bama is a lot higher than LSU. There is more to that number than what we pay Cameron and Chavis.

They also spent a lil over $600k more on recruiting than we did. Now what on exactly? I have no clue. So we finished #2 in recruiting spending that much less. Sounds to me wed be the ones pulling in top ranked class after class if we expanded the recruiting budget.

The two biggest areas are facilities and recruiting budget. Not paying recruits, of course, but they're able to recruit nationally like few other places are.
