See previous post about Mett. He was not recruited by LSU. Jennings was not recruited by UGA. See a pattern?

LSU is not a top 10 program presently and will end up well out of the top 10 and probably out of the top 15. Just a fact. Another fact is that it has no one to play QB.

Jordan Jefferson would have been better served playing at Grambling or Southern.

No, that's your opinion. A fact is that LSU is a Top 5 Program as measured by wins since 2009.

That's another opinion. LSU has several scholarship QBs on their roster.

Yeah, how bout since 2011?

Top 5 programs play for Championships, not progressively embarrassing Bowls.

lol

do you know what some of the historically top 5 programs are? And some of the lumps they've had to go through?

Notre Dame, Bama, Southern Cal, Michigan…

don't be so knee jerky. LSU will be a pre season top 10 team next year all will be well as long as these 2014 guys are on this LSU squad. It's gonna be a fun couple of years.

Hey when/if LSU is sitting at 8-0 next year going into Bama I shouldn't expect to see you around, right? I mean surely you would rather them lose every game next year so that Miles gets let go.

Oh, he'll be here claiming that 8-0 is an illusion caused by scheduling and we will lose our last 4 games.

And we have what to show for it besides a Chicken Droppings bowl loss, a win in the Nobody Went to It bowl, and a plunging conference record down to 4-4 & .500 ball, a Music City Bowl appearance on a Tuesday at 2, courtesy of the most over paid under performing coaches in the country?

You guys are content with all your meaningless stats to justify this tail slide.

The only thing that counts is getting to the SEC Championship and now hopefully the playoffs.

Bragging about being a top "6" program when we're playing in the Music City Bowl is just pathetic and embarrassing.

Now we're down to praying for our young inexperienced QB for next year. So I see we already are building our excuses for the next few years of sitting back and watching everyone else compete for the SEC championship.

Since when are wins meaningless?

So basically, because we don't have the luxury afforded to Oregon, Florida State, or Ohio State of being the only team in the conference worth a damn, that means we suck.

So I see we already are building our excuses for the next few years of sitting back and watching everyone else compete for the SEC championship.

What excuses are those? We are in a better position than any other team to win the conference next year.

another spoiled fan I see. It's unrealistic to expect LSU to be an 11 win team every year. It just is. Get the frick over it.

Again, when/if LSU is a top 5 team going into Bama, let's revisit this exact quote.

Agree, but you still sound like a spoiled fan. LSU will not be in the playoff hunt every year. Not gonna happen, and to expect it to happen is ridiculous and flat out dumb.

quote:

what do you have to be embarrassed about? Did you play or coach on the team?

You must have missed every post of mine in this thread where I have repeatedly said LSU will be a top 10/5 program in 2015. Have you even taken a glance at the depth chart and the schedule? Do you know shite about LSU football besides what you watch on Saturdays? Or are you one of those fans who just lives in the moment and criticizes? All I can tell from reading your posts is that you are an entitled, reactionary, negative fan.

I don't expect to see you around when LSU football blows by AU and MSU next year. Because at that point they will likely be ranked in the top 3-5 and surely you won't be able to find something good to post about?

I am as much an optimist as you are and have been following Tigers since birth (in the 50's!) and season ticket holder 20 years but unless the QB miraculously develops this may be way over the top. We could certainly beat AU and Moo if all that falls in place but blows by? Man, I sure hope so but until I even see the bowl next week will be a bit tempered in that prediction!
Lets just roll the Irish right now and then evaluate in the spring!

MSU will not be a ranked team and AU also went 8-4 this year. Blow by may have been a stretch, but I can't help but be optimistic when I look at this team's depth chart. They are stacked with talent. Just slightly improved QB play could be enough.

Sorry but MAJOR improved QB play will be required for LSU to win 10 games... Sorry but that's how bad LSU's qb play was against any team with a pulse.

Jordan Jefferson would have been better served playin in a correct offense like the read spread option and not some got damn pro style offense. Another example of Miles and co not knowing what the hell they were doing on offense.
