Will be in town Friday through Sunday. Need some suggestions please. Casual or upscale, doesn't matter.

Peche
Casamento's
Domenica
Clancy's
Gautreau's
Cochon Butcher
Herbsaint
Marcello's
August
There's a start for you, but the field is wide open. There are many other places at which you should eat in New Orleans.

People coming into town to eat for the first time I usually send them to Parkway (even though not the best poboy it's near the top and a good real nola food destination)
I also say if you want nice sitdown dinner go Commander's Palace. It's a classic NOLA restaurant and everyone should eat there at least once.
Peche is a hot restaurant right now and deservedly so.
I usually recommend a sandwich at either Cochon Butcher or Central Grocery (the muffaletta one will feed four people)
For brunch I would do Elizabeth's in the Bywater, or try and get reservations at Achatfalaya now.
But there are dozens of good places for brunch including the previously mentioned commander's.
In the quarter itself I like Muriel's and K-Pauls for bringing out of towners.
