My roommate hasn't touched his macbook since he's gotten his SP1 a few months ago. He said its the best purchase for school he's ever made

It would be perfect if there existed a hinged keyboard dock option instead of the kickstand. As an observer, that's my biggest gripe. I'm sure it can be used on your lap just fine, but not with the same sitting positions, locations, and casualness/aloofness with which I treat my hinged laptops. I'm sure I could get used to it. Or I could be wrong and it has the exact same adjustment range, versatility, and stability as a hinged laptop. It just doesn't appear that way.
