Want to buy a gift for GF.

We won't be going out on the water if the air temp is below 60, but the water temp may be.

Mostly looking for spring and fall use, where the temps here would be much like Louisiana.

I am thinking a 3mm shorty because she is cold natured.
What are the thoughts here?

My opinion is get a dry suit instead and layer accordingly underneath for water/air temps. It should be much more versatile.

Kokotat makes nice ones (old one I had) , Ursuit has some great ones (I have one of theirs now).

And since it's for a woman spend the extra money and get the zipper in the behind so she can use the restroom.
