Meh...he just listens to the Dan Patrick show. He said the same yesterday after seeing the catch by OBJ and then pat peterson.
I'm still trying to find who said DB's coming out of LSU the last two years were NFL ready - because of the practice sessions against OBJ and JL. I don't know if it was a quote from a twatter or from my sat radio in my truck - shite I'm old - still zip of my pants by myself.

Just passionate about his team

Mett throwing 3 picks against Ole Miss didn't help
Beckham fumbling punt against UGA didn't help
Handing the ball of to Copeland instead of Hill on goal line didn't help but it's not like the offense did anything else in the Bama game

Woulda, coulda, shoulda!

Meh, dude loves LSU.
He can text OBJ and ask him why he muffed that punt against UGA; or text Mett and ask about the 3 int game.

Throw in the Clemson game from the year before. Making a few stops at the end of the game and LSU's record for those two seasons is drastically different.

The main problem (recently) has been putting it all together.
2009 - Below Average Offense Average Defense (after that 2008 disaster)

2010- Below Average offense (improved slightly) Above Average D

2011- Average Offense Incredible Defense
(Should have been enough to take the title)

2012 - Average Offense Average Defense

2013- Above Average Efficient Offense Inefficient Defense

2014- Atrocious Offense Above Average Defense

The problem has been not putting it all together. We probably haven't seen a complete team since 2007.

I'm hoping offense will improve and we can keep the level of D for next season.

If he and the others cared that much, most of them could have stuck around another year.

I still believe play calling hurt versus Ole Miss.

We were moving the ball on the ground and they still had Mett throw the same deep pass down the middle of the field to get INT'd 3x's.. After the 1st and 2nd one.. they should have went another route.

Against Ole Miss, Mett threw three first half INTs that we could never recover from
And the coaching staff sat the best rb in college football and gave him zero carries in the first half

All the defense had to do vs Ole Miss was make one stop at the end.
So it was the defense's fault? And you consider yourself a "Posi-Tiger"?

I'd have to look back and watch that game but I'm pretty sure Mett could have gone short each time. He got too complacent throwing deep balls to Beckham over UAB and Kent State.
Also, I love all the great players to come through here but if our Juniors through the years had a sense of team/family and stayed all four years for LSU, That 2013 team would have an amazing defense with that awesome offense. We'd have like 2-3 more national championships.
Lol sorry about the rant

Offensive scheme is so predictable even with NFL talent it's hard to overcome.

That's really all it boils down to.

We did recover from it. We scored 24 second half points and the game was 24-24.

We left Ole Miss march down the field and kick a field goal to win the game by converting a 3rd and 6 and a 3rd and 10.

Your question is confusing. Are you saying you can't be a fan of the team and discuss the deficiencies on the team?

I think that's been made pretty obvious around here

You saying last year with the 3,000 yard passer two- 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard back was predictable and not using the talents at hand?
