How does this make him a negatiger? Sounds like he's downing himself more than anything.

He sucker punched a guy to start the season. That didn't help.

Exactly, his comments are meant to say how good the LSU players have been in the pros. Weirdly enough, all of these players seem to love and support Miles

Oh, also, since he brings it up, he was pretty average against all three opponents, especially compared to his counterparts in those games, if he's going to bring this up. In those three games, he had 201 yards on 50 carries, for an average of 4.0 ypc. His counterparts, Gurley and Marshall for UGA, Walton for OM and Yeldon and Drake for Bama, went for a combined 479 yards on 81 carries, for an average of over 5.9 ypc.
If you take these three games out of his stat totals for the season, his average YPC increases to an absolutely stunning 7.8. So he didn't play at his own incredibly high level in those games any more than many of the other players.

I think that's been made pretty obvious around here
And you are labeled a pumper because you don't call the coach a dip shite and want him fired. I think criticism is warranted. I don't think calling coaches and players names and wanting them hurt, suspended or fired criticism. People actually were hoping Jennings gets suspended for pushing the refs hand out the way. That is a negatiger.

True. But I don't think many make the mistake of confusing a lot of LSU fans, especially on here, as intelligent.

Or just giving the ball to hill on 2nd and 3rd and 1 vs. Clemson
Yep. Clemson game and the Alabama game in 2012 were examples of how not to make a last minute comeback.
Both games we left what was working and went somewhere else.

One we needed to run the ball the other we needed to pass

You saying last year with the 3,000 yard passer two- 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard back was predictable and not using the talents at hand?
It was predictable, but the use of talent (most of the time) was not in question.

I respectfully disagree. I thought they mixed runs, play actions and straight drop back passes really well.
I will say that there was not much "deception" and trickery to last year's offense though. (other than standard play action)

Anyone who is frustrated with the current state of LSU football, or hell, lsu sports in general, has to be a negatiger, right? Of course he isn't, he has an opinion and is wondering what most of us are. How are we unprepared , all the time..

What is funny is we ran against bama, people bitched we didnt throw, we threw against clemson, people bitched we didnt run.
Yeah it didnt work, so people are going to bitch.

lol our defense lost us Georgia. Turnovers cost us Bama, and Mett was trash against Ole Miss. Unfotunate but we had so much talent on offense

For the most part it was fairly predictable. LSU had the talent to pull it off though. The main difference between last year and this year is we had a QB who could fit the ball in tight spots 20-30 yards down the field. Play action worked because the run worked, and unfortunately the passing game this year limits those opportunities.
It's hard to execute a good play action with this offense when no one respects the forward pass.

giving the ball to hill on 2nd and 3rd and 1 vs. Clemsom
I've always had a bit of a problem with this analysis for a couple of reasons. First, we were having trouble running the ball on third and short in that game as I recall. I think we failed twice to convert on 3rd and 1 or 2 with Hill rushes. Second, the call on 2nd down was brilliant and did indeed catch Clemson napping. If Mett and Landry execute on that play, Landry probably scores and most certainly converts and we win. I think this is lazy thinking. If we run twice and don't convert, which was entirely possible given that's what they were expecting, then Les is an idiot for not mixing it up.
