2003 - National Champions

2007 - National Champions

2011- SEC Champions, NC appearance

Every four years. I'm not a positiger or a negatiger. Just a realistiger. Odd numbered years tend to be more productive numbers-wise also. I'd like to think 2015 will be a run that goes deep into December/January with some QB/offensive coaching development this spring.

And in the season before each of these great years we looked championship worthy.

2002 - 8-5 (6-1 before Matt Mauck got hurt)
2006 - 11-2
2010 - 11-2

I don't see the same trend this season

LSU will never be anywhere near a playoff with jennings at QB
that's tough to accept but the truth is hard sometimes

2007 2011 Each one of those seasons we had a pocket QB who could throw when needed to make a play NOT a DUAL THREAT QB... we will be in trouble again next season if AJ or BH can't throw with accuracy to the receivers. Having no passing game was the reason pretty much why we have loss four games this season ...

How do you expect this with a brand new O-line

It also used to be in the Super Dome I think all of those years (every 4 years.) Now with the whole shakeup of the BCS/playoff, the NC game will not be played there next year. I believe it is a playoff game, but not NC game when it would have normally been.

I say we will be a contender again.

D-Line most guys returning really except our two starting ends.
LB are young this year they are mostly returning
We will lose a couple guys in the secondary I think but we reload there.
O-line will be the biggest ? next season hard to replace the talent we had this year.
QB will only get better, question is will it be good enough to contend I think it will be
RB LF will be a beast no need to worry here.
WR will be pretty good next year I think.

We are young this year and are returning a lot of talent next season. If our QB play gets good enough which it could, LSU will be in contention for the playoff. My best guess looking a year ahead. We will be a 2 loss team, 3 at worse who will finish in the top 10.
