Would basically prove that the playoff isn't doing its job.

Wasn't the point of the playoff to MAKE SURE the best four teams were competing for the title? IMO FSU has no business in the top four. Who gives a shite about last year? They'll likely end the season with a whopping ZERO wins over top 25 opponents

3 points:

A) Yes, FSU deserves to be in it.

B) This isn't a playoff.

C) Miles to Michigan.

What makes you think FSU or Ohio State are worse than any SEC team?

Because FSU has close games?
Because OSU lost to Virginia Tech?

The winner of the SEC east lost to fricking Indiana

So the defending champion that hasn't lost a game in over 2 years would take a back seat to a 2-loss SEC team?

I don't see that happening.

FSU is good enough to beat any SEC team, imo.

Ohio State getting over a 2 loss team is maybe a travesty, maybe not.

an undefeated FSU definitely deserves to get in.

A 2 loss team doesn't deserve to be in over FSU.

Not only should FSU be in the playoff, they should be ranked #1 right now. They haven't lost, how can we penalize them for close wins when Bama actually lost to Ole Miss and should have lost to this awful LSU team, and beat Arkansas on a missed extra point.

Florida State finds ways to win games. Is this team even close to as good as last year? No. But penalizing an undefeated team in a major conference for close games is a slippery slope.

Exactly. Or the 7 yrs prior. The last I checked, FSU beat Auburn in the NCG last year so it makes no sense that the SEC gets a free pass. I can't stand FSU but will give credit where it's due. They have not lost in 2 yrs and it's a joke that they are #3. Until they lose they should be #1 IMO.

This whole CFP committee is a joke. Even if OSU ends up in the top 4 my opinion of it won't change.

What I hate about this crap is that it's apparent that FSU has some naturally complacent players who will take entire plays/quarters off.

Their perceived "low" ranking by the committee may be the one thing that motivates them to play over their heads come playoff time.
