And wtf does this have to do with police brutality? Because she lives in a high crime area, police are relieved of legal responsibility?

Don't get me wrong, it sure seems like the officer who shot Brown did so legitimately. But don't go acting like police don't engage in brutality against minorities. Or engage in racist practices. I know for a fact that some do. Blatantly.

Just because you don't see it everyday in your upper middle class neighborhood, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

These same people would be crying racism if the police didn't patrol their high crime neighborhoods.

Maybe she has bars on the window because she feels she can't, or is scared, to call the 5-0.

Maybe she bought, or rented the house and the bars were already on the house? If so, she might have thought the bars were installed because they looked nice. I'm sure that high crime areas aren't the only places that you'll see bars on windows. I've seen them on prisons windows.
