SJW contains weak MAOi and SSRI properties, as well as a potent CYP inducer.

If you are taking any other medications metabolized by the liver, it will likely greatly reduce their effectiveness. It could also cause blood pressure fluctuations. If you are taking any other anti-depressant medications, it could increase their effect and possibly put you at risk for serotonin syndrome.

I never recommend SJW to people. Go outside and put things into perspective.

I would advise against SJW too. I tried 5HTP and didn't notice any difference...it comes with it's own set of possible side effects as well that wasn't worth it to me.

I'd make the drive to Colorado. It sounds like that would probably help you the most short of getting a script.
