Took a job in Denver and will be relocating from KC. I am thinking I just don't get paid for those two days. What, if anything, can I do?

Whatever you do, don't ask your employer these questions. Ask a message board on how your job works.

The more important issue is whether you have benefits (insurance) between 11/27 and 11/30. Don't get sick or in an accident.

You should try and guilt them into paying you for Christmas too. You were good to the company and jesus would have wanted it.

Apparently not. If you were, you would get paid for these two days...

Let me guess, they didn't counter when you gave notice?

ETA: just read the rest of the thread. They will show you to the door when you give notice.

Why would someone pay you when you don't work there?

It honestly depends on the company. I recently changed jobs and my last day was July 3. They paid me for July 4 which fell on a Friday.
