Shield warrior. Seems right. I just tried to take down the dragon and my party got destroyed before the dragon even landed. How powerful do you need to be to kill that thing.

And a mount. I haven't even received the content yet due to the xbox live issues, unless i need to do something in game to unlock them.

The armor and weapon comes from a lock box in the room where you wake up after the Rift, on PC you have to make sure you have the bonus content downloaded and "active" not sure on consoles.

For the horses, they are activated via the war room. They are mostly on the orlais side of the map.

Anyone else wander into the area with dragons in the hinterlands? I was like "I wonder whats over here" and then I get hit with two fireballs which knock out the whole group

No, but I can't figure out how to get to the templar camp marked on the map. Where is the dragon at?

I think you need to be given permission from the new head douche of the templars.
When the main mission sends you to Val "something" to speak to the Chantry, the templar leader shows up talking shite and dismisses you. But as I was leaving town the head mage invited me to their camp in the Hinterlands. I suspect you will need to be invited (eventually) to gain access to the templars as well.
And damn! I have almost the whole hinderlands map explored and did not run across the dragons.

Yeah, I wandered around the area near the apostate quest marker but never found it either. The dragon is north, I'll let you guys stumble upon it and get murked like I did.

I figured out crafting. Not so bad. All that iron and drakestone and random shite that seems useless is actually very valuable .
Go to the blacksmith at haven, put materials into the slots and craft. Find schematics for better shite

Yeah, from what I've seen you can create attachments for weapons (but not weapons themselves) and also modifications for armor.

You can craft full weapons and armor at the blacksmith , along with upgrades

ehrmagahd. I just haven't found any schematics for full weapons yet then.
