Oakwood is about to get a remake.... Do you have a ferry that takes you to canal street for free on a bike??? (Think that still runs, I use to catch it often when it ran in intervals from canal to jackson)
Also the DQ blizzards that opened up in Aug of the expressway is legit (haven't been out to metry in a while so not sure have that)

I live in Gretna and am thinking of moving to Metairie. Gretna's not bad but it's surrounded by too much ghetto.

Well we don't have a body of waster between us and canal street, so we wouldn't need a ferry to take us there.
Also, I am a grown man with a car, so i don't need to ride my bike as a means of transportation.

Andrea's is easily the worst restaurant in the state. You can go to any gas station in the hood and ask for a meal and it's better than Andrea's. I do not see how Andrea's makes any money with all the much better Italian options.

The chains are better on the west bank. Thats not even up for debate. They arent as busy. Less wait time.
