Who gives a shite if we shoot 40% when we rebound all of the misses!! Haha

But I see your point, not gonna shoot that bad all season so not that many rebounding opportunities

Yeah, the poor shooting was a big factor. We averaged 41.7 rebounds per game last year, good for 22nd in the league. Portland, ranked first in RPG last year, averaged 46.4. Last night the pelicans grabbed 62 boards. Magic grabbed 56. Those numbers are really high.

It was still an impressive performance by the big men, no doubt. But let's remember that it was one game with lots of rebounding opportunities. I hope Davis and Asik both average over 10 RPG, but I wouldn't call it a lock for that to happen.
