When I lived on Perkins Rd. we'd make bets on how long something would last on the curb.

People picked up some pretty gross stuff.

I'm pretty sure I indirectly killed a family with moldy furniture after Katrina.

I put an old mattress by the curb once. It even got rained on for hours, but someone still ended up taking it during the night. I feel like I'd have to draw the line at used mattresses regardless of poverty level.
