My old dog used to eat Reese's all the time and never had a problem. Vet said chocolate is only harmful to dogs if they ingest an overly large amount. Same with chicken bones. My dog eats chicken bones all the time. How many dogs have you ever personally known to have died from eating chicken bones?

Call the lsu vet school for advice. Someone is always there.
Make sure you let them know how big a Gumper you are. They LOVE the SEC.

Our dog was 50-60lbs and ate the whole king size snicker with no problem. I think he'll be fine.......

Dog will be fine. Chocolate is in some cases harmless. It's chocolate with high cocoa that is harmful to dogs.

He's probably fine but if you're really worried induce vomiting.
They have to eat a pretty large amount of dark chocolate to have any effect.

Oh crap. It was a Milky Way Midnight Chocolate bar.
Dog is about 12-15 pounds I'd estimate.
It's still fine. May have an upset stomach but it will pass. Just stop feeding it.

Chicken bones are terrible because the splinter. You got lucky.

Cooked bones in general are terrible because they splinter. Raw bones don't splinter as easily. A coyote will devour a chicken if given a chance.

And your wallet will be a hell of a lot lighter
It's a $100 as soon as your cross the threshold........then they add on any treatment the dog gets.

Had a black lab eat a pound of M&M's one night. Also jumped on the counter and finished off a rack of ribs. He lived.
