Yeah, I think we were actually agreeing that a loud exhaust does not a performance car make.
It's pretty cool to be able to buy a 6cyl Camaro or Mustang or Challenger (I assume they have a base model) that makes an honest 300HP. Reasonable price, solid reliablity, good looks.

Yeah. That is pretty cool. I've just always been in to some of the other RWD Japanese and now German cars because like you said, it's not like the big 3 were putting out much to be excited about during younger people's developmental years.
