ABC here saying CDC said since fever was under 100 she was okay to fly

If the GOP had not cut the CDC budget, they would not have told her she could fly.

Fever in general terms is anything above 100.3; that said given her history she should not have boarded that plane.

I hope the 130 or so people on the plane enjoyed being a lab experiment.

If so, that is utterly infuriating. The screening questions being used in ERs are for patients that have a POSSIBLE exposure, and the fever is of 101.5. The nurse had direct contact with the patient. It shouldn't have mattered what the exact temperature was, the nurse was symptomatic.
I seriously hope the nurse's question about flying was just brushed off by a dumb arse lower-level who was too stupid to put 2 and 2 together. If the higher ups at the CDC were actually informed of her symptoms and still let her fly, we are all screwed.

A temperature isn't considered a true "fever" until it is 100.4F in a young, otherwise healthy individual.
