I still have a 2013 sitting in my fridge because I don't even like the taste. Sure as hell won't be buying a 2014.

eta: I think some people rate beers exceptionally well just because they are rare and hard to find. on that same token, people rate widely available beers poorly due to high distribution (i.e. Sam Adams Rebel IPA is a solid IPA but has a pretty low BA rating).

Had a friend that drank his 2013 last week, and he said it was a totally different beer, in a good way.

I still got that Elysian bro, with this weather we need to drink that.

I'm sure. I think Pumpkinator is fantastic though... probably going to pick a few up today.

Dude the 2013 version was the definition of meh when I drank it this time last Fall. I still have one left that I'm letting get some age but my expectations are not high.

I can't stand it either.

Pumpkinator really isn't all that rare around here anymore. Starting last year, St. Arnold made a more of it, and BR's allotment was pretty big. Shouldn't be to hard to find IMO, at least for the next couple of days.

Are you saying this is the case with Pumpkinator?

on that same token, people rate widely available beers poorly due to high distribution

There are a countless number of widely available beers that get great ratings.

i agree

strongly disagree. Do not like this one at all. Hops presence isn't there.

Maybe it's just me, but i don't care for session IPA's. Not enough flavor. I'm not expecting a malt bomb, but i do want a slight malt presence.

FYI, i'm not very big on pumpkinator either. I have 1 from 2012 and 2 from 2013 in my fridge.
