I bolded the MVC and SLC teams. Of course the MVC has started its SEC type cannibalization of each other. But what I can not figure out is how SDSU won but dropped in the rankings. Surprised that McNeese did not fall past 11. Also the fix is as UNH jumped Coastal.

1. North Dakota State Bison (156) 6-0
2. Eastern Washington Eagles (4) 6-1
3. New Hampshire Wildcats 5-1
4. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 7-0
5. Villanova Wildcats 5-1
6. Jacksonville State Gamecocks 5-1
7. Montana Grizzlies 4-2
8. Southeastern Louisiana Lions 5-2
9. Montana State Bobcats 5-2
10. Illinois State Redbirds 5-0
11. McNeese State Cowboys 3-2
12. Fordham Rams 6-1
13. Eastern Kentucky Colonels 6-0
14. Southern Illinois Salukis 5-2
15. William & Mary Tribe 4-2
16. Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 5-1
17. Chattanooga Mocs 3-3
18. South Dakota State Jackrabbits 4-2
19. Richmond Spiders 4-2
20. Northern Iowa Panthers 3-3
21. Youngstown State Penguins 4-2
22. Indiana State Sycamores 4-2
23. Charleston Southern Buccaneers 5-1
24. Sam Houston State Bearkats 3-3
25. Harvard Crimson 4-0

The playoff predictions...

Southern Illinois/Montana State winner at No. 1 seed North Dakota State

Richmond/McNeese State winner at No. 8 seed Illinois State

Sam Houston State/Northern Iowa winner at No. 5 seed Jacksonville State
The annual water down the playoff field SLC MVC matchup

Fordham-Chattanooga winner at No. 4 seed New Hampshire

Jacksonville/Liberty winner at No. 6 seed Coastal Carolina

Bethune-Cookman/William & Mary winner at No. 3 seed Villanova

Sacred Heart/Montana winner at No. 7 seed Southeastern Louisiana

Eastern Kentucky/South Dakota State winner at No. 2 seed Eastern Washington

On the at-large bubble: Central Arkansas, Delaware, Tennessee State, Youngstown State

They have 8 teams from 2 conferences making the playoffs.

Not my predictions, do not know what to tell you.

Also UNH should be behind Coastal.

If SLU's offense can show up earlier in the games or more consistently, then I think we can run the table. If not, then I still think McNeese will be tough and maybe a few others like SFA and Central Arkansas.

They even have them as a seeded team in November now.

Normal in November is not fun. Unless you are drunk.

What's better than going to a football game with flurries staying warm with whiskey and spiked hot chocolate?

Why has Mcneese only played 5 games?

I suppose you have a point. The cold game is definitely more enjoyable...to watch on television.

After this weekend, I'm not sure I'm buying into anything Viator puts on the field vs. a decent opponent.

I feel like they are going to stomp a mud hole in SLU this week. They have averaged over 50 points a game over the last month.

Poll looks good, still think Nova should be #2.

Crazy stat, over the last 26 games NDSU's defense has allowed a total of 16 4th quarter points

I think the poll is about to screw the MVC and the committee uses the poll heavily.

How else can you justify only 2 teams last year?

New Hampshire had no business jumping Coastal even though they beat Bill and Mary
