Hell no, Les is the man. As we said Les is stuck in the 70's man. 2 dives plays off right tackle & pass on 3rd. & 7.

One of the reasons Cam was fired from the Ravens is Harbough thought he was calling too many pass plays. You figure it out.

I 100% believe that this is Cams offense. An offense that is predicated on medium and long passing game set up by a power running attack. It is a decent offense for the pro game where you can keep a core set of skill players, it is not a plug and go offense suited for the college game.

I think this is the most accurate assessment I've read so far. I agree with this. Personally, I believed in the pro style offense, but, in the era of 3 and outs, it may be asking too much of college players to make it consistently effective. This is the $4M questions...Is LSU ready to give up it's pro style, play action passing heritage? It's a big risk to change that foundation when it has worked for so long and has been synonymous with "LSU football".

the reason he was fired from the Ravens was because he called out Harbaugh in front of the team for interfering with his offense.

you figure it out.

So how then how was he able to do it from the sidelines in the NFL for years, if Miles says its limits his ability in the college game?

Harbaugh thought his offense was not productive. If the pass plays had been scoring points, he would have been ecstatic, they were not.

shite, look what we did when we were successful Sat nite, on first three drives we have second and short after good first down plays. We shoot ourselves in the foot on each second down and telegraph third...punt, punt, punt.

I know our d is not great, but shite a little field position and a break would help a lot.

I never heard that specifically, though I do remember there was criticism from pundits about the lack of utilization of Ray Rice. If I close my I can still hear Michael Irvin yelling.

I thought it was b/c Flacco basically said "Cam or me" and they chose Flacco.

I would love for this to be true. It's just really hard to believe this when the offense looked the same for the last 6 or 7 years.

Per a player on the team when asked if Miles or Cameron call most of the plays:

-->They both call plays. You can tell the difference.

Take it FWIW. Not saying anything other than passing that along.

Could it be just as everyone is saying? Miles calls the bad plays and Cameron calls the good ones? Ha.

In all seriousness, Cameron probably operates under the framework provided by Miles. Miles probably also calls select plays throughout the game.

My guess as well. I do remember Miles with the playcard and looked like he was reading off a play for the 4th and goal vs MSU. But as a HC, that's his right to do so. I do feel if Miles were to step away from the offense, it would be more spread out for sure. JMO. After 2008, I'm not sure he'll ever be willing to actually hand it over to someone. I just wish he'd spend time with the OL since that was where his original expertise was supposed to be! Lord knows we can use the help there!! ;)

I believe the OC for LSU calls the plays within the game plan agreed upon with the HC.

This. It seems that Cam can only call plays from a list that Miles approves and it doesn't look like he has any freedom to improvise.

Well when you have a true freshman QB the there's not an abundance of plays that Harris knows how to run. What exactly would Cam improvise too? Drawing up plays on the sideline?
