Actually the article is pretty clear that pedophilia is wrong and the people they are trying to help are those who have sexual thoughts towards children but have not acted on it because they know its wrong...
Or would you prefer they don't get help and then one day molest a child?

Who's to say they're not born attracted to children so getting them help is pointless? If some males are born attracted to other males and therapy is pointless because it is genetic, it seems to me that some males may be born attracted to children and therapy is pointless because it is genetic.

the first half is about prevention. Ok, we can have a good debate on that one. Casse to be made for prevention.
However, the second half is about giving them civil rights protections under the ADA. THAT is a problem.
