Typical trash fans. An embarrassment to the program and the school as a whole.

I'll ask this sincerely...assuming you're being honest, do you think you make up the majority of fans?

I ask this, because the VAST majority of idiots around me who were booing/hollering, while SURELY angry at Miles, were yelling VERY VERY specific things AT Jennings. They were clearly booing Jennings.

Aside form that...booing to what end? The frickhead near me who WAS yelling directly at Miles had no plan...he was just angry. Was he under the impression Miles could hear him? If he could, would he take his comments under advisement? Does ANYONE think their booing REALLY lead Miles to make the change...REALLY?

In the end, unless you think booing actually works (which would make you dumb) the only thing I find booing does is make the fan-base look foolish and force OUR TEAM to have to rally around themselves because they no longer think we have their backs

To this I would add that it makes recruiting much harder when young high school athletes see how the fan base treats ITS OWN PLAYERS. Of course, the opponents of this philosophy would say if a recruit is swayed by fans booing THEIR OWN TEAM, he is weak and we don't really want him anyway.

Everyone knows the boos were directed to Les. Were he to speak to a group and everyone started to boo him, that would reinforce who he is. Would he fuss at the fanbase? Or, would he walk off stage? I think he would complain to the crowd and tell them how they should be. He is a selfish coach and he is dishonest to the LSU fan base. He told us so.

Wow. Yeah Jennings I'm not booing your play. I'm only booing the decision to let you play.

Thats the same thing.

Did it do any good...of course not! But it sure made me feel a hell of a lot better.

If booing a bunch of kids, that have given more to lsu football in just one spring game than you have your entire life, makes you feel better, you need to rearrange your priorities.

Then why don't y'all boo every game? Why only when the qb made a bad play?

Maybe booing is the best thing in the world, but I still remember one of Jerry Stovall's assistants getting hit in the head from an empty Jack Daniels bottle thrown at him as the team left the field after a loss.

Charlie Mac gave a similar speech on his weekly TV show back in the early mid 70's.

The coolest thing was when I heard them cheer Les when Harris threw a TD.

So . . . over the years when Les lined up and went for it on 4th down, the wild arse cheers were for whoever trotted out there to run that 4th down play?

Not for the decision? Crowds NEVER react to coaches decisions, only players actions

I've said this numerous times, but booing anyone is stupid. It's that simple. If you aren't happy with what the home team is doing, silence can be deafening.

Yelling at refs over a bad call, yes. Yelling at an opposing player for doing something bad, like the stomping thing with Day, that's acceptable. But actually yelling "boo" is just fricking dumb.

Link? Also his Dad hates Miles . There isn't anything in Miles' tenure here at LSU , that shows/proves Miles being arrogant.
