Really? my tickets are in EUD. I heard a few random people boo during the MSU game but I missed the NM St game.

Myself I don't boo, I do yell crap at Miles to vent frustration even though he will never hear me. I guess he can hear a boo though.

Jennings running onto the field after a 3rd turnover being booed should obviously be in displeasure of at the coach for putting him in.

Jennings throwing an INT and then people boo is really booing Jennings.

Miles stood there blaming the so-and-so fans who booed Jennings, “Boo me” he said, but that’s exactly what the fans were doing. Fans are frustrated with the goddam antiquated offensive scheme and the obvious change needed at QB and thus they were booing Miles not Jennings. Harris was clearly better way back in the spring game. His sour grapes were totally unwarranted and the obvious was proved out, the so-and-so fans were right. Now the right QB, Harris, goes into Auburn with only 3/4 games experience because of Miles’ ignorance. Sometime fans are not always right but in this case they were right, so quite your pity party and dissimulation and get Harris some fricking reps before we piss away another game.

I'll ask this sincerely...assuming you're being honest, do you think you make up the majority of fans?

I ask this, because the VAST majority of idiots around me who were booing/hollering, while SURELY angry at Miles, were yelling VERY VERY specific things AT Jennings. They were clearly booing Jennings.

Aside form that...booing to what end? The frickhead near me who WAS yelling directly at Miles had no plan...he was just angry. Was he under the impression Miles could hear him? If he could, would he take his comments under advisement? Does ANYONE think their booing REALLY lead Miles to make the change...REALLY?

In the end, unless you think booing actually works (which would make you dumb) the only thing I find booing does is make the fan-base look foolish and force OUR TEAM to have to rally around themselves because they no longer think we have their backs.

Every now and then someone sums up everything in a perfect post.

This is one.

You somehow think it was a college kid I was booing.

Because you have a different sounding BOO for Les?
You are a jackass.

Would you rather a guy punch you in the mouth because he's pissed at Miles.

Wait, so we have to either let idiots boo the team or get punched in the mouth?

Really? These are the choices?

If so, we have even greater fricktard fans than I thought.

I just don't do it and will never boo kids playing a game they love.

My question was do you consider it ok for students to boo.

They certainly are no more adults than the players you talk about needing to protect. They do not consider them "kids". So is it ok for them to boo?

I think it is pretty shitty

those are their comrades, their fellow students on the field, the students should be the ones cheering the loudest to prop them up

Another point, since its Auburn week, Jamie Howard was taking play calls from the sidelines, yet his car was still firebombed.

And that was a really pussy thing to do as well.

What is the point exactly?

Are you telling Jennings and the team that they should be happy with the boos because it could be much worse, that they could get their cars firebombed?

I know when I was in school I gave Thomas Dunson a lot of shite. In fact in one game I sat next to his girlfriend who told me that her mom had asked her "Of all the football players you could have dated, you had to date the worst one" She even said that she gave him a hard time about how he played.

It was a different time at LSU though. We had to laugh a little bit about how bad we were.

Everytime Miles sent Jennings out, fans booed. It's not that hard Leslie. Jennings is the middle man.

I think that's what the stadium is doing anyway. They're booing his decisions not Jennings. I wouldn't know though...I'd never boo. Total BS and classless.

I think that is exactly what most of the fans booing were doing. If there was a way to make it known that I was booing Les and only Les, I would have been one booing son-of-a-bitch Saturday night.

I watched my father and uncles boo coaches and players a lot when I was young. They taught me a lot about how to act in public by themselves acting as fools in public. Booing comes across to me as crude and obnoxious.

Booing one's 'own' team is w-e-a-k.
