I think we should defer to the European NATO members on European matters. If they don't care, we shouldn't care.

Then that should make it easy because they do care, they care a frick-ton. After having spent decades being trod under the heel of the Russians when they were part of the USSR, those countries have reveled in their freedoms and damned sure aren't wanting to return to being Moscow's bitches.

Putin is not a stupid man, he will not attack a NATO nation.

B.S., he will use non-Russian uniform fighters the same way he used them in Ukraine. NATO won't do shite as long as Obama is in office.

You couldn't be more wrong.

If Putin's hands are on an attack of a NATO country.

He will reap the whirlwind.

We should have sent defensive weapons to the Ukrainians so that they could have defended themselves against this thug.

Of course he won't. But 'little green men' might while Putin says the whole time they aren't Russian military.

And therein lies the question.

The combined intelligence agencies of NATO can and will see through the pretense. Does NATO still have the balls to do something or will they play along with Russia's ruse.

I'm talking about the nations that have the muscle to resist, at least if they all mobilized, such as Germany, as well as France and the U.K., two nuclear powers. Putin wouldn't be trying this if all those countries demonstrated a willingness to go to war with Russia.

The key part of your post. A willingness to deter aggression. I honestly do not think they have that will. My opinion.

NATO isn't built to have political balls without U.S. leadership.

This is the sort of intelligent and enlightening discourse I've come to expect from you. Keep up the good work. At least you didn't attack my mother this time, like you've done before.

When you don't have anything intelligent to post, don't post anyway. Tell your mom I said hi.

Do you really consider crass ad hominem attacks a sign of intelligence? No wonder you're unable to suppress your classlessness.

It's obvious from your comments regarding Russia, NATO and the Baltics that you are ignorant of the facts & implications. If that hurts your feelings for me to point it out to you, too bad.

It's not an ad hom attack in spite of your opinion that's all it is. It's just a statement of facts.

Grow up.

And in response to that, Obama's plan was to get even MORE SOFT with Putin?

Is Obama a smart feller or just a fart smeller?

If you look at that gif of Putin from the forehead down he's almost a spitting image of Jay Cutler.
