Regardless of color (all I see is purple and gold), this kids speaks with a maturity well beyond his years. Often athletes use the same canned clichés and can come off as dumb jocks... not this young man. He has a lot going on upstairs; seems humble and hungry to learn.

Gotta respect this awesome young Tiger! I hope he rips Auburn's arse!!!!

Definitely seems like a smart kid that's for sure. Think we've got a good one!

you don't start at LSU as a true freshman by being lazy that's for sure. this kid is going to surprise everyone this weekend. household name type respect from the media is about to come.

He arrives early and stays late. Great game manager. A coach on the field. Motor never stops running. Studies more film than anyone.

I watch and enjoy all of those videos, but they need to turn the volume up. My deaf ears can barely hear them.

Also, this interview was before he was named the starter, so he's saying he's going to do that not even knowing for sure if he'll start

I've liked him since he stole someones mic at the HS Allstar game and did some interviews with other players.

Anyone have the link for this? I have searched several times and can't find it.

I already like his leadership ability as a freshman better than Mettenberger's as a senior.

The body language, energy, his cadence.

Harris just seems to have an overall positive disposition, and we'll have to see how he handles adversity, but I think he will be good there based on his general attitude and the way he carries himself. On that note, one thing I like about Miles is the way that he communicates with QBs after a mistake. Very calm and encouraging. I think it's a horrible idea to berate QBs the way that many coaches do. You want your QB to have poise under pressure, so don't go maniacal on him when something goes wrong. For most other positions it can work, but I don't think it's an effective way to communicate to QBs and kickers.
