Very smart kid. We seem to be in good hands.

Really. Race has nothing to do with it. Have you heard the way kids talk nowadays?

Love it. This is the second interview I've seen with him and he always has a perfect answer for everything. Seems so calm and collected, and confident.

I thought it was funny when he said that Cam reminds him of his dad because they are quite critical.

Great video for recruits to see.

LSU plays them early and gets them ready for the NFL early.

Although the recent rule change regarding the number of Jr's that can request an NFL draft grade may slow the early departures some.

Very rare to hear a student athelete compare a coach to their dad, white or black.

So many things in that interview I liked.

The kids attitude, demeanor, thoughtful responses, etc.

In the beginning he mentions his stats and how they may look good but he knows there were mistakes that can be corrected ( missed throws / missed reads).

At one point he mentions getting tons of reps in practice and his confidence is up but makes sure to add that its not up in a bad way. That tells me this kid isnt a chest thumping "swag" type quarterback.

Im super excited for this guy to be leading the offense. Hate to say it but interviews like that coupled with his past two performances give him a little more room for mistakes. A bad quarter / half/ game can be overlooked knowing his potential. Much more than I was willing to give Jennings unfortunatly

I liked that too.

In every interview I've seen, he has sung the praises of Cam.

Harris spurned a school that dubbed him "Mini Cam" to come study under Coach Cam.

I don't think I've ever been so impressed by a LSU QB at this stage in his career.

In the last 30 years or so, has LSU ever had a more highly recruited QB under center? Honest question, I don't follow recruiting that closely.

Harris is a very likable guy. I think he feeds off of the environment Saturday and has another good game, but I think the defense will cause us to come up short. This kid is going to be a baller before he's done here.

Brandon is the prototypical student of the game. I'm so excited he's getting a shot to lead the offense. Great kid, great player. Cheers to Harris!

Perriloux was highly touted and had a similar skill set. B. Harris has his head on straight though.

The persona is genuine. I've talked to this kid and his coaches a number of times when he was at Parkway. I never sensed my BS meter rising anytime we conversed.
He's the real deal and hopefully his skills on the field will match the way he carries himself off the field.

Perrilloux was a five star and consensus number one dual threat. So that would make him higher. Good answer.

For the first time this year, Brandon Harris is getting all of the QB1 snaps. Very exciting.
