Until I see this defense play better, I'm predicting 0-8 or 1-7 on the road, and maybe 4 or 5 home wins the rest of the way.

The defense has been a disaster every week, aside from the one game against the Adrian Peterson-less Vikings.

What makes you think they can "turn it around"???

I am at the point of show me something better than what they have produced on the field.. As of right now they are looking like a sub .500 team. Time to see what this team is made of.

When is the last time a team has missed a 50+ yard FG against us? this is a serious question, because I honestly feel like kickers are fricking money versus us.

when Dallas made the long one I asked what the frick it will take for a field goal to not play clutch against us

Yall forget about Suisham missing that chip shot in '09 which allowed us to force overtime against the Skins? Or what about Barth missing last year which allowed us to go on that game winning drive against Tampa? What about Stover's miss in the SB?

Would need the Defense to without reason all of a sudden click and start playing decent. The Offense to be capable of sustaining a drive would help as well. Special Teams not being terrible. And the coaches to stop making terrible play calls. All of this during the roughest stretch for just about any team in the NFL. Other than that I'm optimistic.

I think we turn it around.

2 nail biter losses on the road to 2 good offenes.
1 blowout loss on the road to arguably the best RB in the league right now and a top 5 receiver.

1 solid defensive, low-scoring home win against a rookie QB/team that put 41 points against atlanta.

I'm very confident we can string together a nice few weeks and peak going into the playoffs and be a force no one wants to mess with.

Are you calling the Dallas game a nail biter?

Cleveland and Atlanta.

I know its "Cleveland" without their 2 best offensive weapons, but all season without those 2 game changers, they've put up solid #s against quality defenses. We held them to 19 offensive points. They put up 27 points vs. Pitts, 23 vs. Baltimore, and 26 against us (7 from us).

Atlanta has been a top 5 offense all season.

I think we can - i got faith we can do it.

the bigger question is, will anyone who is writing off the season come back and admit they were wrong, if it does get turned around? i wager probly not.

Right now Cleveland is 12th in PPG, and 13th in YPG, and I'm willing to bet they finish closer to 15-20 as the season ends. In the overall view of 32 teams, I wouldn't classify their offense as good.

On another note, Atlanta just put their 2nd and 3rd starting OL on IR, and put Moore in IR-DTR. The Panthers have the ability to turn it on like last year, so they may be our only competition in the division.

We turn it around. Agree with the poster that said one game at a time. It's cliche but it is what it is. Be 2-3 at the bye and have some rest and extra prep for Detroit. Getting to .500 at 3-3, on the road, against a top 5 offense in Detroit might just be the turning point in this season when we look back at it.

I think we turn it around...too talented and well-coached (historically) not to.

...the team has always been in the playoff picture at the end under Sean Payton and i expect that trend to continue (at the very least)

After the three gut wrenching losses this season the only positive I can try to take into consideration is the fact that we definitely won't be one of those teams who peak too early and blow their wad before the important games get here..

I try to take comfort in knowing that our best and most complete games are still ahead of us

Holy run on sentence batman

Nope I have not seen anything so far that would make me think we could turn it around. Yeah I know we could easily be 3-1 right now but we would still be a bad 3-1. We lost to a bad Atlanta and Cleveland team and a got destroyed by a middle of the pack Dallas team. Could only get 19 at home against the Vikings.
