Good job adopting that pup. I highly suggest you start reading up on German Shepherds. They can have several very strong drives to deal with. They need lots of exercise and focus.
Get her some toys, maybe a ball and play with her. She's going to work on that door until she can come in. IF she continues doing it after her adjustment, get an empty can or container and fill it with coins. When she jumps, open the door and rattle the can.
