Nitrogen is less soluble in beer than CO2.
This tends to gives the beer a thicker creamier mouth feel due to the fact that all of the nitrogen is released when you pour the beer.
All nitrogen beers are also partially carbonated with C02. This prevents the beer from being flat when the nitrogen is released on pouring.
I'm not a fan of Milk Stouts. So I really don't care for the Left Hand Nitro, but Oskar Blues Old Chub Nitro in a can is excellent.
