Since I don't listen to that JA, maybe someone who does here can clue us in on Finebumb's rant towards Saban when Saban elected to go for a 57 yd FG against Auburn instead of trying to win in overtime. I am sure he recognized Saban as stupid there right?

I am proud to say I have never subjected myself to more than a minute of that piece of shite. I tune out of any medium he shows up on. When he would show up on Gameday--I change the channel. When he is on a segment with SVP-I tune out or FFwd if on podcast. I won't ever watch the SEC network show he's on.

When we beat a good SEC team, then I will listen to Finebaum. I discovered him in 2010 on XM radio when Cam was running all over the place and although I believe Finebaum bows to statues of Bear and Saban every morning, he was fair in his criticism of Bama that year and gave Auburn props. Same thing when LSU beat Bama in 2011 regular season game. F-baum is a Bama personal nutholder and only worth listening for LSU fans when we beat Bama or have taken care of business on the field. How him and his band of mental out-patient regular callers got a TV spot on any network is beyond me. So please turn that crap off until we beat a good SEC team.

Yeah, they are pretty much yukking it up at LSU's expense today. Chuckling and making snide comments. And the callers seem to be enjoying it and getting in on the action too. I think there are a lot of college football fans and SEC fans in particular that would revel in the decline of LSU football. It's like vultures circling over a carcass.

I will say this his prediction for the game could have come true had we pulled it out at the the end.
He said LSU would win but everyone would say MSST should have won.
He is like night and day when he does guest spots on other shows, he actually sounds reasonable and some what objective.

I watch that show for the pure enjoyment of laughing at the red necks that call; never have I once thought "wow, that guy might be smarter than I am".
And I'm glad a vast majority of LSU fans don't like him or his show and call in and embarrassing us.

I used to listen when I would travel to TTown to visit relatives and go to games. The callers really are comedy gold. The best one I heard was after the 9-6 game a caller said Bama lost because it was a home game and they were distracted by all the media hype

Bamafan had alot of fun today telling me how terrible LSU is and how great they are.
It's hilarious. You'd swear half of them are LSU fans by the way they dog our coach and team.
