Miss State had fewer thugs in jail than Miles has had over the past 5-6 years. Miles recruits thugs, knowing 25% will be gone before their Junior year.
State recruits players who can speak in complete sentences, which is more than Miles can do on a good day.

You've come here and acted like an ignorant kid. Why? Because LSU lost a football game. Miles is in year ten and this is his 4th loss at home in those ten yrs. No excuse to lose?? He's way overdue as I see it. Of course, I'm a grown adult that doesn't fall apart over my team losing a game.

Is there an excuse for why we lost to State? Eh, not really. Think about it like this though. Dozens of good teams lose to shitty teams (teams that are worse than them in every facet you mentioned) every fricking year.
Get over it, move on, and enjoy next week.
Examples you'll probably know from recent history...
Boston College beating USC
Iowa State beating Oklahoma State
ULM beating Arkansas
Indiana and Missouri
East Carolina and Virginia Tech
North Carolina State and Florida State a few years ago.
And it goes on, and on, and on...
Upsets happen every year in college football (part of what makes it greats) and this wasn't even a shocker of one. A lot of people wouldn't have been shocked if they pulled off the upset. Surprised? Sure, but not shocked.

I feel like these threads come up every year. Yet the Tigers win 10 games somehow. Even if we go 6-6, its disappointing of course. But not the end of the program as we know it. If were gonna have a down year this would be the one. Just so young everywhere.

Sometimes you lose to a team you should beat......it is usually because they play better than you do. Please do not try and turn us into the Alabama fan base where they never lose a game...even when they do their lots of excuses and they can never give another team credit for the win. Bunch of assholes over there.

I can take a lost, but to be manhandled by MissSt no excuse! The score said we lost by 5, but even the most sunshine pumper knows that wasn't the case!

i understand what you're saying. I agree that msu was due for a win, but the fact is that LSU does not lose to msu...period. the msu athletic department is on a similar level as that of colorado state.
And if you do happen to lose to msu at some point, you sure as shite don't do it like what happened last night
whether it was scheme, players lack of effort, or whatever, that kind of performance should never ever happen against msu. it's a matter of pride in the team, pride in LSU, and mental discipline to dominate inferior competition
