As a disinterested 3rd party: Please calm the F*** down LSU fans.
You've had a top 10 program for a decade and made several runs at the NC. You have a great home stadium and loyal fanbase. You've got lots of in state talent annually.
LSU is declining only relative to the run Alabama has had during recent history. We've had great teams, but some good luck during the run. LSU's had a few bad breaks and close loses, but had your nose in the horserace most seasons. That's as good as you can expect in the modern era. You will continue to be a strong team for the near future.
I think you may have plateaued with your head coach, but Coach Miles has been pretty darn good for a decade at the wheel.

Completely agree. Winning only hides the decline from those not knowledgeable to see it. The worst thing that can happen is to win the NC even if we win back to back NCs. It'll always be a decline. Always.
