The fan logic for leaving early is pitiful. The day I let piped in music upset me to that point is when I realize I have bigger problems.

And all the people discussing 'boring' football...it's sad. We've been spoiled with one of the winningest programs in the past decade and the 'fans' apparently know what's best.

At this point I'm ok with the head coach, not that it really matters. The atmosphere of the stadium has changed drastically since I started going to games in the late 1960's. Over a period of time, things got less homey and the college atmosphere inside the stadium started getting slowly compromised. The piped in hip hop trash is an insult to the older fans. The prices of everything including the tickets have skyrocketed over the years. I let my tickets go this past season with the last price increase. While I could have financially afforded them, it is hard to justify the expenditure when I can sit in my den and watch the games on a 60" screen, and lot have to listen to that trash piped in music or frick with the traffic. I can and do still take in a live game a year and those tickets can be found fairly easily.

For those who are pushing to make college football more like the NFL I have a suggestion. Go attend the fricking NFL games. I did for awhile and got turned off, but that is what some want, so the Saints, Texans, and Cowboys are all within reasonable driving distance. College football is a lot about tradition (or at least it used to be). Let it keep its own identity.

Damn what a shitty thread. I'm sure right before you posted it, I'm sure you thought you were bringing up great points. Unfortunately, you were wrong though.

I think there's a much easier explanation; In the end, it's entertainment. Most of the time, the product on the field has not been entertaining.

I've walked out of shitty movies before, haven't you?

I cant blame fans for leaving early last night. At halftime it still looked pretty full. I had given up by the start of the 4th too.

You don't go to a football game because you're paid to go or because you feel obligated to do so. You go because it's entertainment. I paid a very high price and got zero entertainment value in return because our coach refuses to adapt to 2014 style football. Lsu games aren't fun to me like they used to be. So I'll sit at home and watch. And there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

Your quite a knowledgeable little shite. A student from 2006 to 2010! Wow, those four years have obviously provided you with tremendous insight into LSU football. You don't have a clue. As you grow older you may come to recognize you're not that smart. Until that time, don't post. You suck at it.

During the endless parade of on field guests at every timeout, limit Borne to 25 words introducing them. Telling the life story of the Iberville Parish Rotarian of the Year takes away time from the band.

And the southwest jumbotron. There is a reset button somewhere. Press it.

They ran out of Bud Lite in my club seating. What am I supposed to do without beer?!?! I immediately had to get out of there. LSU failed to pamper and meet my needs.

I've never went to a movie that was so bad that I walked out.

I agree.

We have a band. Use them.

For what it's worth, my dad was a season ticket holder for 45 plus years. He stopped coming to games a few years ago when he could not make it up/down the stadium steps/ramps.

He would HATE the obnoxiously loud, piped in music.

I hate it too. Tiger Stadium isn't like it was back in the late 70s and early 80s. Hell, it isn't anything like it was in the 90s, when we had losing season after losing season.

Is this music the best they can find? Is this the image we want to portray of LA and LSU? It's garbage, hell it isn't even music.

The only thing enjoyable about last night's game was the band. They sounded awesome. My brother (a TGBFT alum) and I were sitting in the NE corner and the band was blowing it out.

Get rid of all that piped in shite and let the band play.
