This shite just keeps getting worse and worse. I actually hope Goodell stays a little longer so more will surface and he'll lose whatever credibility he has left before the banhammer drops.

That smug POS going down in epic flames is glorious

It seems like no one is talking about this except for us on Saints Talk. Can we really say shite has hit the fan?

Trust me, they're trying to make stuff like this go away fast at this point.

That's why Goodell dropped his press conference on Friday afternoon.

At this point, each new "discovery" is being timed to be a "response" to every lie that comes out of Goodell's mouth. So they can't release it until he puts his foot in his mouth.

And I'll add

Rodger Goodell's legacy

"We must protect the shield and integrity of the NFL. We do not however give a rats arse about beating women if said beating conflicts with that integrity."

REAL NFL MESSAGE:

I will punish teams I don't like back to the Stone Age with zero chance of forgiveness, even though I have no proof.

But in other cases I will lie and cash in favors to protect my favored franchises.

But we knew it already with Spygate. We just have another smoking gun now b

Goodell isn't going anywhere.... the people who employ him are actually starting petitions and shite to KEEP him.... unless there is major corporate sponsorship that backs out or significant loss of TV viewership, the owners are going to keep him there....

he has made them insanely rich, and they will remain loyal to him in the face of this...

Have you ever set up a bunch of dominoes just to watch them fall in sequence?

(... do you get it yet?)

which is all fine and dandy but.....

if a or all media outlets don't start running with this particular story it will fade into nothingness and Rog will just keep spewing his spin BS.

So while I respect Tim for his oiginal post, in reality this story isn't anything any clear reasonable person did not already know

No. This is way over blown on this board right now.

They're going to do one of two things.

1: Nothing.

2: Put all the blame on the Ravens' owner.

Goodell isn't going anywhere, this story is going to blow over, and it has nothing to do with the Saints at all.

I don't have much to add to everything else posted but a nutless monkey could "make the NFL rich".

I want 3 extra first round draft picks in 2015. And get to use one of those with the first pick of the 2015 draft.

In football.
