I used to hate those frickers. Then I had kids, and started investing in super-soakers for the kids to play with. Now we go wasp hunting with dawn water.

Alas, this is an imperfect world... dawn don't do shite on a copper head or cotton mouth.

Looks like hornets or yellow jackets. I removed a nest similar in size this year off my dad's pontoon boat.

These are yellow jackets or so called ground hornets....Red Wasps make a different kind of nest. Both of them should be treated with 87 octane or WD-40 and a lighter
