So you telling me since the govt doesn't allow the other drug, Oklahoma is trying a new thing? Sounds like a microcosm of our drug policy.

It's amazing. They were smart and likely knew what "including but not limited to" means, and they evidently opted not to use that phrase to make sure certain specific practices were banned. I would have proposed it.

On a related note, the pro suicide groups seem to endorse Helium as a way to commit suicide painlessly, so maybe that should be given a try.

I know it would create a huge ethical/ moral delima, but I've always thought organs from death row inmates should be saved for those needing them. A way to pay your debt to society for your actions.

I know some wouldn't want an organ from a death row person, but I bet many others would.

I support the use of the death penalty but never thought of it as an effective deterrent- most of the crimes punishable by the death penalty involve the offending party potentially risking their lives for the crime itself. For instance, if you're going to go into a store and rob it, there's already the chance of the shopkeeper shooting you in self- defense.

Asphyxiation in general is practically a perfect way of execution. Until the moment you go to sleep, You don't realize anything is wrong. In fact, you begin to feel great and super confident until the moment of unconsciousness.

Oh, and its cheap.

Took my wife to that movie on our first date.

I'm surprised she stuck around after that.

In practicality I agree since we have to make the executions "humane" to avoid having the DP completely outlawed. Never mind that the murders usually weren't.

In reality I prefer steel cable with "Renegade" playing in the background.

Hey, wait a minute. Isn't that what dentists give you when you have anxiety about getting your teeth cleaned?

To hell with painlessly. Inject the frickers with Drano and let them writhe in pain!
