The woodlands isn't outrageously priced. It's just that you can get a little bit newer house closer to downtown for the same price in other burbs. Is it worth paying that much for an hour drive everyday. If I worked in the woodlands itself, I'd pay 75k more for the same house there just to live there. But the drive drops the appeal down a bit so it's probably going to end up off our list.

The traffic is ridiculous and I had to wait almost an hour to get a table at the chain restaurant cheesecake factory last friday night. Cookie cutter/no culture. Boring as frick except for the pavilion and fishing on lake conroe.
