2007 Kentucky team not only had Woodson...but had Stevie Johnson, Wesley Woodyard, and Jacob Tamme who are still producing in the NFL.

And the white guy from Louisiana

Ha. Ohio State had 8 players drafted that year and would have def been favored to win over WVU

Were they not favored to beat LSU?

Also, your stat includes guys like Troy Smith (career backup

He wasn't on Ohio State in 2007. You're getting your years confused.

While I agree that WVU could have beaten Ohio State in 2007, you're looking really dumb in your argument.

Those guys were freshman. 2007 did not have one player drafted.

Anyways like I said Ohio state had more NFL talent. Esp over WVUs 6th round phenoms

Serious question...does anyone on this board actually enjoy anything? College football is down, NFL is down, no one likes MLB...buncha depressed bastards. You would never think that was a board dedicated to sports.

If ppl can take their own team out of the equation 2007 was one of the greatest cfb seasons ever.

Not sure what you're talking about. WVU was a good team but they were not even close to Florida athletes.

I said the 2007 WVU team had the speed of that 2006 Florida team, what about that are you not getting?

Did you not keep up with college football outside of OSU? Pat White (2nd rounder) was the Big East POY, and they also had Steve Slaton (3rd rounder), and even their fullback Owen Schmitt (5th rounder) was drafted. They also had Ryan Mundy, was a 6th rounder and won a Super Bowl with the Steelers.

2011 was so good. it was unreal seeing lsu and alabama completely crush the souls of every team they played. like the whole season felt like it was just hyping up to that game.

but 07 went absolutley Devil May Cry levels of CUHRAYZEE evgery single week. stanford over usc, oregon over usc, then getting beat the next week, the fricking mizzou-kansas game, and then the fricking WVU-Pitt game. Probably my favorite non lsu moment from that season though was when Uga scored on UF to open the game, and the whole fricking team comes out to dance in the end zone

LOL Wut? None of those guys was a freshman in 2007. White was a junior and won the Big East POY for the second year in a row, Slaton was a Junior, Mundy was a redshirt senior, and Schmitt was a senior.

Literally none of those guys were freshmen, or even underclassmen. Did you follow college football at all that year?

Agreed, and my team wasn't anything spectacular that year (8-4, Cotton Bowl loss to Mizzou).

That was a fun year to be a college football fan in general -- your own team's games aside, I had so much fun just sitting in front of my TV on Thursday nights and Saturdays watching the drama unfold as the ranked teams fell by the wayside week after week.

Let THAT sink in for a while.

OU ran Mizzou off the field the next week and KU beat VT
