she had sent him a text saying she was going to put the kid out with the trash and hoped he died.

thats why he was filming and so upset.

I hate stuff like this. Ive dealt with children being abused at work and its one of the hardest things to not get emotionally involved in

What do you do? I wouldn't last a week dealing with abused children and their parents. Maybe as a counselor or advocate after the fact, but never while trying to get them out of the home or something.

An hour ago I was at a house where two twin 2 year old girls were naked running around a yard filled with trash, dog shite, tools, etc. More mosquitoes than Grand Isle, 5 gallon buckets full of rain water, etc without supervision. I find this to be unacceptable and these kids are in an unhealthy, and unsafe environment. The kids acted almost like they were wild animals. That is a form of abuse imo. OCS wouldnt even blink an eye to that type of thing. If they arent physically abused or malnourished then they usually remain with the parents.
