Well his show is on Comedy Central.

So was "Politically Incorrect." It's the content/agenda of a show that matters.

The agenda is to entertain and make people laugh. The content is generally left-leaning, as is their core audience. What's the problem? Seems they've been very successful judging by their many awards.

Stewart is terrible... Not even going to click the link.

I accidentally left it on CC the other night and he had the Secretary General of the UN on. The crowd gave him a standing ovation, like he was their great leader. I bet not one person in the crowd could have named him if asked.

Once again, you either don't understand the point im making, or else you're simply choosing to ignore it. Stewart spews his left-wing bias, which is fine. But when somebody calls him on his agenda, he pouts and says, "im just a comedian."

He wants to have it both ways, and that's bullshite.

He's really not. He's a pretty smart guy who happens to have an opposing viewpoint to your own. I've never heard him say anything illogical and would welcome anyone to present me with audio or video of someone having a better point than him in a debate.

Ironic, considering that is how most right-wingers approach Stewart.

His comedic agenda? He is clearly more left than right, but he isn't on a news network. He would destroy just about anyone on any news network in a debate (as he almost always does, which is probably why you dislike him) because he likes to expose hackery of any form.

1. If you don't agree with him, you oppose him.
2. If you post here, there is a 95% chance you disagree with him.

Did I say I didn't agree with him? Nope I didn't... I just said he was terrible

But go on....

Did you do a scientific poll to get to that percentage?

I understand your point. I just think it's dumb.

95% of his show is satirizing news media, and in today's media world Fox News is ripe for satirizing. It's funny. Take it for what it is.

Alright. I'm sure the percentage is much lower than stated. Whenever you want to publish a peer-reviewed article, just let me know and we can start data collection.

Not even talking about that, that was more of a joke...

I'm talking about you saying that I don't like him because I disagree with his points. That is completely false.

Oh, so you agree with his points but dislike him? Cool. Sorry to generalize, it's easy to do on this board.

He regularly rips on them, too, they just provide less material than Fox News.

The guy once said that FOX News was the only biased news organization in the country. Even you lefties should know better than that.

Hell, the tv networks even (purposely) infiltrate non-news shows with liberals. You think it's a coincidence that George Stephanopoulos hosts GMA? Or that there are at least two co-hosts of The Today Show that used to espouse their liberal views while hosting their own shows on MSNBC?

For that matter, does anybody think that it's a coincidence that "The View" never has more than one conservative co-host? Or that they brought back an idiot "truther" to co-host the show?

Wake up, people.

I agree with some of his points and I disagree with others... But I think he is terrible. Even on the points I agree with, I don't crack a smile.

Same as with the likes of O'Reilly, I agree with some of his points and disagree with others, but he has become terrible to watch. Haven't watched him in many years.

The problem with Stewart is he tries to hide behind "Oh, I'm just a comedian", but is pumping political agenda as much as he can and trying to shape the views of his audience.
