I don't draw the line. The owners and GM do. I mean, a 4th string rookie DT gets a DUI he's likely getting cut. Geno Atkins? They're probably going to work something else out. This type of preferential treatment happens in more than just the sports world.

Im asking you where you would draw it...

If I was an owner I wouldn't employ anybody convicted of child abuse, pedophilia, etc

It's a decaying society when the accepted barometer of morality is the decisions made by a football league

Saying mean things to your black teammate. 3 games suspension, kicked off team.

Who uses the NFL to judge morality? I think thats dumb. They make financial decisions, not moral ones.

I think he got fined and had to be re-educated.

cptbengal is a pretty angry guy, so I'm sure in his world this does just fall under the "saying mean things" category.

Yep, beating your kids seems perfectly normal and well adjusted to me.

I remember that.
The NFL just doesn't want to be an organization of bigots - I don't see what's warped about that. Its not only the right thing to do, it makes good business sense, too.

Reach....in fact you might've pulled something.

Beating a 4 yr old is not discipline. It is disturbed.

AS a child, and not at 4, I was switched as well. Thought it wrong then and think it is wrong now. Getting spanked was bad enough. Taking objects to inflict injury and pain is brutality. Brutality on a four year old is disturbed. I did not inflict the same on my children and they are fine.
