I would like to see both play. About 15 years ago we had 2 QB's about equal in talent,I can't remember their names, but the coach[before Miles] played the 2nd QB a series or two every 2nd Q'ter and 3'rd q'ter. Maybe one series in the 4th. After 8 games the starter got injured and the 2nd QB had to play. He was ready with 16-20 series experience and played well the rest of the season. His parents lived across the street from me then, they later moved. That's why I say play both, but Harris a little less right now.

Hodson and Guidry? Late 80's.

How many series do you think Harris has played so far in only THREE games? At the current pace, he'll have more than 16-20 by the 8th game.

Also, he threw the ball against Sam Houston State a good bit, including a TD pass to Dupre. That was a perfect game for him to get a few series with the playbook open, and the staff did it.

Anyone still calling for Harris needs to do what the OP did and re-watch the games. The OP is simply pointing out a fact that Harris, on multiple occasions thus far, has been lost on the field not knowing what play was called.

He's clearly athletically gifted and will see the field more once he learns the playbook, but I don't see how anyone can reasonably complain about his PT so far after 3 games with him playing in every one. Even when we were losing against Wiscy, he got a shot.
