My great aunt named herself when she was about three. Of course, she was close to the youngest of ten kids. My great grandmother was probably tired of thinking up names! They called her Baby until she named herself.

What did she come up with?

10 days or do, longer than a week.

Coco is the name. He was a Bush Admin appointee attorney. They both went to Washington & Lee. It was odd.

Oddly, Ruth!

What is also weird is that there was a census in the interim after her birth and before she named herself. The census form on Ancestry.com says Baby.

Co worker a couple years back, returned to work after taking he FML and still hadn't named her daughter. Her and her husband couldn't agree. I still don't know what they named the kid.

That is strange.

My friends still don't have a name here. I just thought it was odd because they have been discussing names for a few months and had it narrowed down to 2. Probably arguing about it now.

FWIW, this was a surprise baby. He's 49 and she's 43. I just figured they would have it worked out by the time the baby came out.

My buddy had a kid recently, didn't name her until the next day when the nurse came in with the birth certificate
